He's getting sooooo big

I'm loving every minute of this little guy. He's getting so big, so smart, & so fun. It's amazing how every day he's doing new things. He is no longer in his "baby" tub with the sling, he's in his big boy tub holing himself up. He LOVES it!!! I can't wait until he can go in the pool. He's now playing in his Baby Einstein bouncer, sitting in his Bumbo and grabbing toys. Here are a few recent pictures.

Sorry I'm a slacker

First I'm going to get a little sappy. I am so in love with this little boy. He makes me smile so much. He is such a happy guy and I can't get enough of him. I love this poem, so I wanted to share.
Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn’t worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn’t want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn’t stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom
I didn’t know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn’t know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn’t know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn’t know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn’t know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

So I weighed Mr. Jax today and he weighs 14.4 pounds (50-75%) and he is 25" long (75%). He is getting soooo big! We got his professional 3 month pictures taken, and he was not in the best of moods, but, being as photogenic as he is, we still go good ones! Hope you enjoy! Also, he rolled over for the first time for his Daddy on Saturday!!!!

Omg he is 3 months old!

Well, the last 3 months have been the most amazing time for us. He is the best little guy anyone could ever ask for. He always so happy and smiley, even at 5 in the morning when I'm changing his diaper. I couldn't get mad at him if I tried. He started sleeping 7 hours over night, had alittle relaspe last night only sleeping 4-1/2, but it sure beats 2 & 3 hours. He is also getting so big. I'm going to weigh him tomorrow. I will also post his...3 month pictures! I'm so excited.

Thanks for checking in on us, and don't forget to check back tomorrow!!!
